Mechanic/Technician Apprentice (Meadowbrook)

Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanic/Technician Apprentice to join Utah Transit Authority at Meadowbrook. The role involves participating in technical instruction, passing written tests, and demonstrating competencies in various modules such as Preventative Maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, and more. As an apprentice, you will work under supervision to assist in repairs, maintain vehicles, and perform preventative maintenance inspections. In addition to technical skills, candidates must meet specific qualifications, including having a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement, relevant education, or experience.

Working Hours and Compensation

This full-time position has a night shift from 9:00 pm to 7:30 am with Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays off*. The pay rate ranges from $25.33 to $29.33 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable. Successful apprentices advance to the Journeyist classification upon graduation.
