Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Medical Assistant to join Reflect Health, part of OnPoint Medical Group. As a back-office Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers by ensuring efficient patient care and maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and preparing patients for examinations.
• Documenting accurate vital signs and patient information.
• Assisting providers during examinations and treatments.
• Maintaining supplies, cleaning treatment rooms, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Handling pre-visit planning, voicemails, inbox messages, and front-office tasks when needed.
• Following HIPAA guidelines and communicating effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Attending trainings and meetings as required.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a healthcare program or equivalent work experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills and EMR experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Some Medical Assistant experience required.

Preferred Education/Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in Family or Pediatrics.
• Experience with the Athenahealth practice management system.
