Job Description
We are offering a prestigious paid summer internship/co-op opportunity at Middle River Aerostructure Systems for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in Design, Engineering, Lean, Manufacturing/Production, Quality, Engineering Services, and Sourcing/Materials. As an intern, you will work on challenging projects, develop essential skills, and receive mentoring from experienced managers.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects independently with a duration ranging from 2 to 6 months.
- Create presentations to communicate progress and best practices.
- Analyze data using tools like Excel.
- Assist with tasks related to the field of study.
- Participate in training and early talent events.
- Ensure accuracy in assignments.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program leading to a Bachelor's or technical degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completed one full year of college (rising sophomore).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 24 credit hours towards a Bachelor's/technical degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Material Science, or related fields.
- Ability to make independent judgments and plan ahead effectively.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Capable of working independently and in a diverse team.
