Network Systems Engineer

Job Description

This is a hybrid position located in Castle Rock, CO (2-3 days in the office). As a Network Systems Engineer at ATN International Inc, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficient architecture and operational integrity of our telecommunications network. Working towards providing reliable communication services to underserved communities in the rural Southwest, your role will involve a service-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership over incidents and requests.

Responsibilities

• Manage network performance, security, and reliability using various tools.
• Administer Privileged Access Management applications and handle network element access.
• Identify and resolve network issues to ensure uninterrupted service to rural customers.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain network management systems tailored to rural community needs.
• Maintain detailed network documentation for future reference and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and execute network system upgrades to enhance stability and performance.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux System Administration experience.
• Proficiency in network monitoring systems and scripting programs.
• Experience with databases and network management in telecommunications.
• Familiarity with programming/markup languages such as Python and HTML.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Windows Server Administration.
• Familiarity with PAM systems and centralized log management.
• Proficiency in managing multi-zone DNS and container systems.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools like Kibana and Elasticsearch.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hiring Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000 yearly.
• Comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, parental leave, 401k, and remote work options.
