Pharmacist

Job Description

SCA Pharmaceuticals, LLC is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As an integral part of our FDA 503B outsourcing facility, the Pharmacist will oversee compounding activities, ensure quality and safety in medication production, and collaborate with the quality unit. This position involves supervisory, administrative, and operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise compounding, labeling, and daily pharmacy operations.
• Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and compounding activities.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and batch record directions.
• Investigate deviations, conduct batch reviews, and lead sterile admixture preparation.
• Communicate effectively with the pharmacy lead and enforce personnel policies.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active Pharmacist License in home state (AR and CT).
• 2+ years of experience in sterile compounding and technician supervision.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Capability to wear sterile Personal Protective Equipment and lift up to 40+ pounds.
