Principal Application Architect (Finacle)

Job Description

Discover Financial Services is seeking a talented Principal Application Architect specialized in Finacle to lead the technology strategy and technical capabilities for an application ecosystem. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in business processes and technical building blocks to design application architecture that aligns with business and customer needs while meeting technical non-functional requirements for resiliency, security, and efficiency. You will collaborate with senior product owners to develop product vision, independently oversee the design process, and coach other architects on product quality strategies.

Responsibilities

• Train others in solution design patterns
• Engage in understanding and researching modern technologies

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Engineering, or Technical Architecture
• Proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus architecture scale (internal applicants)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Finacle is a plus
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and Openshift

Compensation: Base pay ranges $148,000.00 to $204,000.00 with additional incentives
