Principal Product Owner - Discover Home Loans

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Principal Product Owner to join Discover Financial Services. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of products that meet the needs of stakeholders and customers. This role requires a deep understanding of various business aspects to provide effective solutions that satisfy all parties involved. You will actively manage risks and address customer-related issues, contributing to the overall success of the products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align product vision, features, and roadmap.
• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the product team.
• Create and maintain product documentation and define non-functional requirements to achieve product metrics.
• Prioritize product backlog items, ensuring alignment with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Work with business technology to optimize system components and infrastructure maintenance.
• Build a culture of accountability and ownership within the product team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business.
• 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related fields.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
