Registered Nurse

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a Per Diem basis, working Days (7am - 7pm). As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality nursing care to patients in accordance with physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and Facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality nursing care for patients based on prescribed orders and regulations.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians and in compliance with Facility policies.
• Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians during rounds and patient care activities.
• Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control measures, and adhere to cleanliness and safety protocols.
• Participate in research related to nursing care quality.
• Assist with new admissions, physician appointments, and physical exams.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Registered Nurse license.
• Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and renew as required.
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing and provide quality patient care.
• Maintain yearly CPR certification.
• Attend in-service training and meetings as necessary.
• Display supervisory skills and collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other departments.
• Exhibit dependability, flexibility, and strong decision-making ability in nursing practice.
