Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Kettering Health Network. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients across different healthcare settings, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care in coordination with the healthcare team.
- Be accountable for ongoing professional growth and adherence to legal nursing standards.
- Advocate for patients by ensuring the provision of safe care, including delegation and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
- Reflect the organization's values and philosophies in delivering nursing care within our network.
Qualifications
Applicants Must Have:
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Preferably hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or complete within 5 years of hire.
- Completion of a refresher course may be required for nurses returning to acute care after an extended break.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS as per unit requirements.
