Job Description
CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time contract opportunities in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of previous hospital experience, hold an RN license, and have BLS certification. As an RN in the Medical Surgical unit, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, coordinate patient care, and educate patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care following organizational protocols.
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
- Record patient information accurately using digital systems.
- Educate patients and families on care plans.
- Coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Provide age and culturally appropriate care.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of hospital experience.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
