Job Description

We are seeking a talented Risk Management Analyst to join PacifiCorp in Portland, Oregon. As a (Mid-Level or Senior) Risk Management Analyst, you will play a key role in providing independent and objective analysis to support risk oversight committees and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market price data and risk reports for energy supply management activities.
• Monitor power and natural gas positions for compliance with risk management limits.
• Assist in responding to internal and external data requests and preparing compliance reports.
• Review transactions for adherence to risk management policies.
• Contribute to the preparation of regular reports summarizing transaction activity and compliance.
• Maintain and enforce energy risk management policies.
• Undertake special projects as assigned.
• (Senior) Level: Oversee data preparation, external communications, system development, and lead projects involving multiple departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in risk management or related quantitative fields.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with database applications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a team environment and present recommendations.
• (Senior) Level: 5+ years of relevant experience, advanced analytical and project management skills.
