Job Description

Wisconsin Community Services is hiring for the role of Security- Resident Monitor II at Parsons House Reentry Services. This part-time position involves monitoring and supervising adult male and female offenders within a correctional residential setting and in the community. The responsibilities include maintaining accountability of offenders, enforcing safety and security protocols, performing some office duties, and ensuring adherence to all rules of offender supervision.

Shift Needs

Various shifts are available, including part-time 5-hour shifts and weekend part-time openings on Saturday & Sunday. Mandatory overtime is required on all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising clients in various facility areas.
• Enforcing house rules and safety measures.
• Administering tests and conducting surveillance checks.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
• Participating in training sessions and staff meetings.
• Assisting with resident intake, orientation, and office duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in corrections or related field preferred.
• Clear background checks, physical exam, and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license, automobile, and insurance.
• Excellent communication, crisis management, and multitasking skills.

Physical Demands

Must be able to climb stairs, remain mobile, perform First Aid and CPR, and lift up to 50lbs. Ability to respond to emergencies and work on a varied schedule.
