Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Riviera Golf & Tennis, Inc. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure food quality, and maintain high culinary standards for our banquet, halfway house, and restaurant kitchens. Your creativity, leadership, and culinary expertise will be essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative and high-quality menus.
  • Supervise food preparation to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
  • Mentor and lead culinary team members to promote excellence.
  • Contribute to menu development using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Coordinate with other departments for events and special initiatives.
  • Maintain food quality standards through regular inspections and tastings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end culinary environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for culinary arts and delivering outstanding dining experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
