Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on electric overhead traveling cranes at nuclear power plants. Your role will involve conducting on-site mechanical troubleshooting, documenting findings, completing service reports, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry codes. Additionally, you will be required to maintain company equipment and vehicles, communicate effectively with the service office, and participate in safety meetings.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on electric overhead traveling cranes at nuclear power plants.
• Conduct on-site mechanical troubleshooting to determine equipment malfunctions and necessary repairs.
• Document findings, make corrective recommendations, and provide safety summaries.
• Adhere to safety rules, procedures, OSHA, ANSI, and other industry regulations.
• Complete service reports, maintain company equipment and vehicles, and communicate effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in related field is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in overhead cranes, installations, or mechanical work.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work at elevations, pass background checks, and travel extensively.
