Rotating Equipment Repair Engineer

Job Description

ITT, Inc. is seeking a Rotating Equipment Repair Engineer to join ITT Goulds Pumps' PRO Services shop in Colfax, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will handle quotations, produce drawings, update shipments, provide customer support, and manage projects from inception to completion. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in repair and service of pumps and rotating equipment, computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Handle quotations, pricing, and sales support.
• Produce drawings for parts manufacturing and repair.
• Update shipment schedules and follow up with customers.
• Support problem-solving and customer solutions.
• Ensure subcontractor quality and negotiate specifications.
• Collaborate with the Facility General Manager on ongoing jobs.
• Contribute to safety, shipments, cost savings, and quality goals.
• Provide after-hours support for hot jobs and customer needs.
• Manage projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in pump and rotating equipment repair/service.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Creo is a plus.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
