Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to making quality housing accessible to all. As the Senior Development Officer, you will collaborate with program teams to secure funding from corporate, foundation, and government partners, as well as individual donors, to support our mission of creating thriving communities.

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in Enterprise's mission and programs to shape the fundraising strategy.
• Develop compelling case statements and fundraising strategies for prospective funders.
• Build relationships with local, regional, and national funders, organizing meetings and events to cultivate donor engagement.
• Write and submit grant proposals, reports, and impact documents in collaboration with the Grant Writing and Communications teams.
• Maintain accurate funder records in Salesforce and manage donor communications.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated success in securing significant donations.
• Bachelor's degree required; strong writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of community development and affordable housing a plus.
