First Student is seeking a dedicated Tech in Charge to join our team, specifically serving the Vashon Island School District.

About the Tech in Charge Position

As a Tech in Charge at First Student, you will be responsible for overseeing fleet maintenance, diagnosing complex issues, and managing service records. Key duties include:

• Supervising technicians
• Creating and monitoring work orders
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle components
• Improving shop operational efficiency

Requirements for Tech in Charge

• Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain CDL
• Minimum 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Mechanic's toolset and commitment to ASE certification
