First Student, the largest school transportation provider in North America, is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team serving multiple school districts. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure safety and vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual DOT maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment issues.
• Complete work orders accurately and assist with mobile emergency services.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required; Willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
• At least 1 year of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair experience or technical school education.
• Possess a mechanic's tool set and willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
• Subject to a drug test.
