Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis, working the night shift. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams with precision and care, ensuring the best possible imaging outcomes for accurate interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Educate patients on procedures and acquire accurate medical histories.
- Perform CT scans, administer contrast media when necessary, and operate imaging equipment proficiently.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures and maintain a clean and stocked exam room.
- Utilize hospital computer systems effectively and communicate efficiently within the medical team.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by the ARRT with additional CT certification within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
