Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Full-time Radiology Technologist position at Corewell Health. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, communicating effectively with both patients and medical staff, and maintaining the highest standards in imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Obtain accurate patient histories and document them appropriately.
- Monitor patients during procedures to guarantee safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and maintain quality control standards.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
