Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis during the afternoon shift. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring patient safety and compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Obtain accurate patient histories and document information accordingly.
- Monitor patients during procedures to guarantee their well-being.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control protocols.
- Interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and peers.
- Contribute to departmental operations by assisting colleagues and maintaining compliance.
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 Days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
