Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis during the afternoons. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of medicine and provide exceptional care to our patients.
General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. Your responsibilities will include acquiring patient history, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards for interpretation.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with attention to patient identification and physician orders.
- Monitor patients for safety, use age-appropriate methods, and ensure timely relay of STAT requests.
- Effectively communicate with various departments and operate imaging equipment proficiently.
- Comply with radiation protection principles and educate patients on procedures.
- Assist in staff training, maintain competency in all assigned areas, and contribute to department operations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.

Location & Shift
You will be based at the Dearborn Hospital with a full-time evening shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Variable weekends and days worked.
