Job Description
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient histories and document them in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and ensure timely communication of STAT requests.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families prior to exams.
- Maintain competency in various radiology procedures and assist in training new hires and students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification upon hire required.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
