General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in various radiology areas, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while adhering to radiation protection principles and regulations. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and demonstrating our Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and ensure patient education before each exam.
- Contribute to department operations, assist in training, and maintain competency in assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Certifications: CRT-R (ARRT) upon hire, CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration (ARRT) within 180 days, CRT-BLS (AHA) upon hire.
