Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a motivated Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis working afternoons. You will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring patient safety and providing high-quality images for interpretation. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Obtain patient histories and document information accurately.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their well-being.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and maintain equipment.
- Contribute to the effective operations of the department by assisting colleagues and complying with quality control standards.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Current CRT-R and CRT-RT certifications required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
