Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis during afternoons. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic exams with accuracy and efficiency across various areas of general radiology. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, providing exceptional patient care, and following established policies and procedures to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician's orders.
- Obtain accurate patient history and document information in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols in case of malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to radiation protection principles and regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification upon hire required.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT 180 Days required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Upon Hire required.
