General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will perform diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology under supervision. Your role involves ensuring the best possible images for interpretation, adhering to radiation protection principles, and delivering excellent patient care. You will contribute to providing a Patient and Family Centered Care experience.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with precision and efficiency.
- Acquire patient history accurately and monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow quality control procedures.
- Provide patient education, assist in training, and maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) and CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration required.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
