Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a talented Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. You will work under supervision to ensure the best possible images for interpretation, follow radiation protection principles, and contribute to the overall patient and family-centered care philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Performing quality diagnostic exams with attention to patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquiring accurate patient history and documentation.
- Monitoring patient safety during procedures.
- Operating diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Following ALARA standards for radiation exposure.
- Providing procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assisting in training new hires and students.
- Maintaining competency in various radiology procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
