Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology. Your responsibilities will include patient care, radiation protection, quality imaging, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient histories and document them in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to prioritize safety.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment efficiently and follow protocols for any malfunctions.
- Ensure compliance with ALARA standards to minimize radiation exposure.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT-Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire required.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
