Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. As part of our collaborative team, you will uphold our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care while providing exceptional imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire and document accurate patient histories in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize appropriate methods for imaging based on patient capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and individuals.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols for malfunctions.
- Provide patient education and maintain departmental cleanliness and organization.
- Contribute to training activities for students and new hires.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas including fluoroscopy and orthopedic procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist within 180 days required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association upon hire required.
