General Summary
Under supervision, the Radiology Technologist performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology. The role involves ensuring patient safety, acquiring patient history, and operating diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently while adhering to radiation protection principles.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams and document patient information.
- Monitor patients for safety during procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure compliance with quality control.
- Contribute to effective department operations and assist in training.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
