Days Worked: 4 10-hour shifts
Weekend Frequency: On-call weekends
General Summary:
Corewell Health is seeking a Special Procedure Tech to provide direct care for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. The role involves assisting physicians, monitoring patient conditions, operating equipment, and ensuring quality patient care throughout procedures.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor patients undergoing procedures.
- Provide intra-procedural technical support.
- Perform IV starts, record hemodynamic waveforms, and provide patient education.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure accurate documentation.
Standard Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited radiography program or equivalent education.
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Relevant certifications including BLS, ACLS, and RT status.
- Basic computer skills and exceptional communication abilities.
