SPECIAL PROCEDURE TECH

Full-time, Day Shift

We are hiring a Special Procedure Tech to provide direct care for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures at Corewell Health. The role involves assisting physicians, monitoring patients, performing IV starts, and educating patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide intra-procedural technical support and quality patient care.
• Perform and document hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms.
• Follow radiation safety standards and equipment checks.
• Participate in invasive procedures as required, adhering to sterile technique.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Radiography or Cardiovascular Technologist program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
• Active BLS certification, additional certifications based on specialization.
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
