Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Special Procedure Tech to join our team. This full-time position involves providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Responsibilities include IV starts, patient prep, equipment operation, documentation, and patient education. The ideal candidate will possess clinical experience and the ability to communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care during pre, intra, and post-procedure stages.
- Perform IV starts, hemodynamics monitoring, and ensure patient safety.
- Operate technical equipment and maintain radiation safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography or cardiovascular technologist program.
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Valid BLS certification and other required certifications/licenses.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
