Under general supervision, the Special Procedure Tech at Corewell Health provides direct care throughout Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Responsibilities include patient assistance, IV starts, hemodynamics monitoring, operation of equipment, documentation, and patient education. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and assist in procedures.
Essential Duties
- Monitor patients during procedures.
- Provide technical support and maintain quality care.
- Record hemodynamic/physiologic data.
- Communication with team members and patients.
- Maintain safety standards.
Qualifications
- Educational background in radiography or cardiovascular technology.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
- Current certifications as required for respective labs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
